To help learning much increased science info by the ISGE student, we employ “frameworks.” A framework is an already learned organization or in more precise mental terms, an already achieved set of neural nets possessed by the students. Since they already have learned the “framework,” they more easily and rapidly can add new material. Pre-existing neural net organization is a proven mechanism to ease and speed assimilation of new information.
These already learned neural nets or frameworks in the minds of the student come from several practice sessions. First, the students are taught the general idea that there are processes common or similar to ALL science phenomena. Many science phenomena as case studies are systems in themselves. They are trained to look for Identifying Features and Identifying Functions. Second, the students always learn the general steps in the abstract systems process initially (e.g. hierarchy, cycle, feedback, etc.) at the very beginning of each topical set of modules. Only then, is the information added from specific cases or instantiations. Third, all of these instantiations are organized in the same manner so the added material occurs in an already experienced and expected sequence.
