Repetition with Variety

Part of learning with our human brains comes down to repetition. We remember easily what we do over and over. As we plan and produce the ISGE modules, we consciously incorporate “repetition” in presentation and action on the material. Games also help with this. But we are sure to avoid one of the drawbacks to repetition; it becomes boring if not disguised. So we try to accomplish repetition with extensive variety. Hopefully our ISGE students do not even realize the repetition involving its advantages without involving its disadvantages.
