Embedded Testing

At unexpected times during their progress through the ISGE curriculum, the student is presented with mini-tests to determine if they are learning the material. Education research indicates that these mini-tests are most conducive to continued learning if they occur at irregular intervals. Subsequent lesson material is adapted to the understanding they exhibit in their test results. They are directed to return to certain segments by test results. Progress through the curriculum is connected to their measured growing understanding.

The nature of the ISGE modules as computer-assisted instruction enables use of these proven techniques.
